Investor presentation: Worked with leading venture capital firm to develop its Annual Meeting presentation. Jon Greer Consulting helped the firm clarify and organize its messages, develop the flow of its presentation, and finalize the presentation.

Results: The firm was able to communicate a difficult message during challenging economic times in a positive manner. Marketing director noted that the presentation development process was much smoother than in past years.

Investor communications: Worked with a major fund-of-funds sponsor to develop a signature Annual Meeting featuring venture capital fund managers and keynote speakers. Jon Greer Consulting worked closely with the firm to conceptualize the event, then took the lead in recruiting speakers, arranging panels and overseeing production of the meeting for more than five years.

Results: The firm surveyed investors who attended the meetings on a regular basis and received very positive feedback, with investors calling the meetings “outstanding,” “informative” and “well-run.”

Investor communications: Worked with venture capital and private equity firms to craft compelling Private Placement Memoranda for use as fundraising documents in the creation of private equity pools. Activities included outlining and development of key messages, drafting and editing.

Business writing: Developed an email newsletter to highlight the positioning and thought leadership expertise of a newly formed professional services firm in the venture capital sector. Activities included advising the firm on the style and content, selecting and working with a graphic designer, overseeing development of a design template, writing and editing the content and finalizing the newsletter for online distribution.

Results: Client reports receiving many compliments as well as new business leads from the mailing.

Web site development: Created a new web site for private equity firm. The firm’s prior web site was a decade old and far out-of-date. Jon Greer Consulting developed revised and updated positioning, selected a web design vendor, managed the creation of the web site design, and wrote and edited the content.
